Exe Estuary Trip, Friday 21st June
Year 3 had a brilliant afternoon on the Exe Estuary at Exmouth on Friday. The children were kept busy exploring the habitat and searching for the many different types of creatures that live there. Fascinating finds of the day included lugworms, shrimps, crabs and even some animal bones! The fieldwork gave us a great start to our Science topic on Living Things and their Habitats. The trip on the train also gifted us beautiful views of the Exe Estuary, so very useful for our Geography too!
